2010 Proceedings Style Guides
To assist you in preparing your paper for submission, a Style Guide for each submission type has been prepared in MS Word. Typing directly into the document is an easy and effective way to ensure your paper meets the style requirements. Please download the Style Guide(s) you need. (Using MS Word to type directly into the Style Guide is the preferred method. MS Word is required for all manuscript submissions. Word Perfect users may find that the document format is changed slightly when opened in Word Perfect. If you use Word Perfect, we encourage you to view the documents in Adobe Acrobat pdf format to be sure to see an accurate representation of the page format. If you use Word Perfect, please convert your file to MS Word prior to submitting your manuscript. Use of MS Word is required for all manuscripts submitted for publication in the SMA Proceedings.
All authors should print the Checklist for Submission (MS Word) that contains instructions for submission of your work for publication. Please carefully follow each item in the checklist. PLEASE NOTE: It is not necessary to send the checklist along with your paper. The checklist is intended for your use to help you prepare and submit your manuscript.
Manuscript Submission: Please email your manuscript(s) to the Editors in an attached MS Word file at smaproceedings@aol.com no later than July 16, 2010. Also, please mail a copy of your submission(s) to your Track Chair(s). If your manuscript, prepared in MS Word in the format required in the SMA Style Guidelines, is not emailed to the Editors in an attached MS Word file to smaproceedings@aol.com by July 16, 2010, your paper will not be included in the SMA Proceedings. INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS AND CO-AUTHORS
- Society rules require that ALL AUTHORS AND CO-AUTHORS whose names appear on papers in the 2010 Conference Program (Competitive Tracks and/or Special Topic Sessions) or in the 2010 Proceedings of the Society for Marketing Advances MUST be paid-up members of the Society. Each author and co-author must complete the membership form.
- Remember, at least one author of each accepted competitive track or special session paper MUST ATTEND the 2010 Conference to present the paper. If you have any questions, please contact Bob Erffmeyer, Conference Program Chair, at erffmerc@uwec.edu.
